I'm not getting any alerts

Check three things, in this order: that notifications are allowed for FirstDrop in your phone's settings, that you have saved at least one place in the app, and that quiet hours does not cover the time in question. Quiet hours holds back rain alerts — but never severe weather warnings, those always come through.

“Follow me” doesn't work when the app is closed

That feature needs location access set to “Always”, not just “While using the app”. On iOS it is under Settings → FirstDrop → Location. Without it we cannot see weather closing in on you while the phone is in your pocket.

Why does the app want my location?

To warn you about the weather exactly there. We do not sell it and never share it with advertisers — see the privacy policy.

What is “watch an ad to unlock”?

A choice, not an interruption. If you choose to watch a short video you get a paid feature for 24 hours. You can do it twice a day. There are no ads anywhere else in the app, and none at all with a subscription.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by the App Store or Google Play, not by us. Cancel in the same place as your other subscriptions: iOS → Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Android → Google Play → profile → Payments and subscriptions.

I want to see or delete my data

Write to allan@noer.biz. Since there is no account, we need your device ID to find it — you will find it in the app under Settings. We respond within one month.

The alert was wrong

It happens. A forecast is an informed guess about what the radar will do next, not a guarantee. Tell us the place and time and we will look into it — that kind of report is exactly what makes the model better.

FirstDrop does not replace official weather warnings from the authorities. In dangerous weather, always follow official guidance.
